BEC
Saw these in the Little Rock Paper. They are in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Ad says: Speakers, Klipsch, Vintage, Cornwalls, Cherry wood. $1000/pair. 479-522-2030 Fort Smith Cherry Lacquer was one of the finishes listed for Cornwalls by Klipsch. Of course these could be just a birch raw with cherry stain. I haven't talked to the seller. Bob
jt1stcav
If these Cornwalls are actual Klipsch-veneered cherry wood and in excellent condition, then maybe $1000 isn't such a bad price.
BEC
That was my thinking also. I haven't seen a set in real cherry yet, but think that would look nice. Bob
jt1stcav
Man, I wish my Cornwalls were in real laquered cherry veneer...my dad bought the C-BR cabinets and stained them walnut. Frankly I wish he had left them raw birch (the cabinets are plain and rather drab), but they were passed on to me, and you sure can't beat a freebie! Love my Cornwalls nonetheless, but in cherry veneer with real cane grill cloths would be HOT!
