Trerl25
Greetings: I have the quintet microsystem with a KSW-12. My friend is selling a used Harman Kardon AVR-7000 for $600. Is this worth the money and further more is this overkill for the quintets? Should I go with a different receiver? Maybe one not quite as powerful? I don't want to spend money on a receiver and never be able to use its full potential because the speakers can't handle the power. The specs for the avr-7000 is posted below. Your opinions and replys are very much appreciated. JasN00b
well, when you eventually upgrade your speakers, and you most likely will, then you will appreciate the powerful reciever. but even with RF-7s, you'll never use all the power because of how effecient Klipsch speakers are. but if its in mint condition i'd go for it. m00n
Dude... That is a great price for that receiver. Make no mistake about it. For no other reason I would by that receiver and plan for the future.
