Craig6519
How does this compare to the Dynaco ST-70? I never heard of it but i'm still a tube newbie and love my ST-70, I was just curious about this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3025361517&category=39783 Craig
NOSValves
This is from a post on Audio Asylum about that amp. Okay, nevermind. I got it today! I had the amp singing in less than an hour! I have about a dozen different tube amps(including two different Dynaco ST-70s - one stock and one modded) and this one is quite nice. I haven't yet had enough time with it to make my decision, but it is very nice and esthetiaclly pleasing. I will need to try it with different sources and preamplification. Initially, I would say that, with it's solid-state rectification, it is quite a bit more responsive to low notes and a little brighter. But, I'm still partial to that warmth of tube rectification.
