BEC
OK, this is a question for you vintage tweeter experts. What is so special about vintage Jensen tweeters and why do they seem to bring their weight in gold (well silver anyway) when they show up on Ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&mfcisapicommand=ViewItem&item=3022765921&rd=1 Bob
horonzak
It was a sweet sounding unit. As simple as that.
Mark Hardy
I have a couple of Jensen RP-103 horns and a couple of Jensen RP-109's (used by Magnavox in their consoles). I think they are thoroughly unremarkable and I too have marvelled at the $$$ they fetch on eBAY, especially the RP-109's which were abundantly used in Magnavox consoles. I think the intersection of the AlNiCo plus horn mystiques accounts for the price folks will pay. I got mine for free...
