DrPyro Posted June 4, 2003 Share Posted June 4, 2003 netnut- I know for sure that the Tradein for the Stage One is over with. Upgrading the ACT-3 is still a viable option, I THINK. I upgraded my ACT-3 when the program first started and I LOVE it!! I wasn't able to use the ACT-3 prior to sending it in for the upgrade (long story), but I really love it...crisp, detailed sound, its truely amazing! It settled my hunt for a new CDP for a few months because using the digital out from my DVD player to the upgraded DAC of the ACT-3 sounded that good. The reason I didn't go for the tradein is that I didn't wan't to spend $3000 for what I felt were outstanding looks, THX processing, component switching, & Pronto NEO remote.
