Frzninvt Posted June 19, 2003 Share Posted June 19, 2003 K (Klipschorn), D (Decorator Type), BR (Birch Raw) the D type Khorn does not have the complete top section (just a motor board that the midrange and tweeter are mounted on) nor does it have the spacer between the bass and horn section. I think that the "5" in the S/N is an "S" which would make them 1978 models. They should have the "AA" crossover in them that mate to the K-55V squawker/K-400 horn and K-77 tweeter. If they are Rosewood they would have had to have had veneer applied to them since they did not leave the factory that way.
