Bill H.
Saw these on ebay, and it made my skin crawl............ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3034145757
jzoz01
Wow, someone really did a crappy job of painting those. Oh and the drivers don't match, that is sad.
bkrop
It looks like they had a hard life, lets hope the get a loving home and restoration. Why does this make your skin crawl? If he parted the drivers and crossovers out seperately...GRR
Bill H.
bkrop, I understand that he/she is allowed to part out the speakers....it is the condition and the fact that with different drivers their trying to sell them is all I was pointing out. With the condition of the veneer, can these be salvaged, i.e. brought back to some kind of nice looking condition?? Should a person be concerned with different drivers-or does that matter much??? Still learning.
bkrop
Whoa! Those look like he11 on the outside, They could probably be refinished to smooth black, but to a lighter color they would probably need new veneers. Cosmetically the different woofers don't look nice so you would need grills. Klipsch replaced a driver in my speakers under warranty and it was a different shade. justin_tx_16
If the price is right... you could just sand them down and restain or veneer them, they would look like a totally different speaker!

cyclonecj
I parted out a good looking pair for parts in my center channel. I am almost tempted to get these & reassemble my good pair for use in another room.
