Unreal Posted August 17, 2003 Share Posted August 17, 2003 I work at Bestbuy, and since we got the synergy series, I liked them. After reading this forum, I had to venture out to a real store and try out the reference series. Went to Satelite City, and asked to listen to them. The sales man started out with the RF7s in a home theater setup. Using the Klipsch rear surrounds and rsw15 sub. All that I can say is the rsw15 is impressive and loud. The soub overpowered everything in the room. Then he went to a 2 channel setup to play some music on the RF7s. The choice of music wasn't great, but you could hear that the speakers were pretty damn nice. He put on some of the smaller reference towers (rf-15, rf-25, rf-35). They were just not impressive at all after hearing the RF7s. Overall, they were nice speakers and I was impressed. Out of my budget for a long time, but nice to see what else Klipsch makes.
