Deang
A couple of things out there some of you should know about, mostly because they have been topics of discussion here recently or in the past. MacIntosh MC-30 monoblocks: http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?ampstube&1066604041&class&3&4& Quicksilver KT-88 monoblocks http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?ampstube&1066603636&class&3&4& G.A.S. Thaedra http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?ampstube&1066583375&class&3&4& If I was running a solid state amp, and wanted a full function SS preamp with phono -- this is the one I would run. The phono section has a reputation as being one of the best ever, and the preamp overall delivers a sound that is simply marvelous in every way possible. The baby brother to this thing that I ran for a decade smoked every preamp that tried to go up against it. Very cool -- the discrete stepped attenutator, balance, and tone controls are probably worth more than half the asking price alone.
