moondawg
I'm trying to put together an HT setup on an obviously limited budget, given the prices I've seen for subwoofers in general. I have Heresy front and center in a relatively small 12'x14' living room. Is there a sub out there that will augment the Heresy and provide a measurable level of bass response and offer at least some level of audible enjoyment for both movies and music for around $300? I see that I can pick up an RW-10 new for about $330. Will that do "it"? Thanks,
TheEAR
Yes you can buy some quality even for this little money. PolkAudio PSW404(paid $450 canadian, this trsnslates to around $300US). I would add another $100 and get the PSW505,a solid performer using a true long throw 12" woofer in a ported cabinet powered by a 300W RMS/600W PEAK BASH amp.You cannot miss here. I recomend these because I have them and I would never buy a poor performing sub. When there is a good deal I jump on it.
