kev313
true story...Lush Life was, I think, my first real exposure (at age 21) to jazz. Well, probably not the first experience, but the first time I really took it seriously. Oh Lordy...what a downward sprial since that day............ rigma
What do you guys think about these labels? They appear to be high quality recordings. Command Audio Fidelity Project 3 London phase4stereo Allen, what do you know about these. I just purchased about 600 of them from a widow of a compulsive audio nut. They are in near mint condition. She said he played them once to record to Reel to Reel tape. I also bought the 1000 or so recorded tapes all meticuously documented as to what is on each. I also got (1) Empire 880SE, (4) 888TE, (1) 200E/X(NOS) (1)2000E/III(NOS) Cartridges as part of the deal Any comment on these. I have a mmf-5 TT, are any of these a good match? MrMcGoo
I have the Blue Note SA-CD of Blue Train. Many older recordings do not transfer to SA-CD into a pleasing recording. The transfer of Blue Train to SA-CD is excellent IMO. I have unversal player that transfers the SA-CD bitstream to my processor via i.link, so I get time alignment etc. The sound stage on this recording is excellent. You would think that this was a recent recording, if you did not know better. Many thanks for the recommendation! Bill
