Bill H.
I am sure this has been covered before, but I can't find any info. When I try to hook up the audio (rca) cord from my TV to my Integrated amp , at the same time I want to keep a connection from my computer to my Integrated amp to play music thru- I get a humming noise! If I disconnect either source, the humming stops! I noticed this with other units I have tried to do this same procedure with. What am I doing wrong, and how can I do this to prevent the bussing/humming noise............ Thanks Bill
bkrop
I have never hooked up a TV to amp but have always connected my VCR, it has always worked fine with various amps/VCRs. Hope this helps.

diceman
HUMMING SOLVED! I cured my HUMMING problem by converting my three prong plug to a two prong plug. Apparently, the humming in my subwoofer was caused by a grounding problem. If you can't or won't pull the third prong from your plug, connect it to an extension or converter that changes it to two prongs. I used an extension and pulled off the third prong. Voila! Humming gone, instantly. And to think, I was going to sell it on EBAY to buy a new one!
