muleman
I have a pair of Forte II's for the front L and R channels of my HT. I used an RC3- series II center channel with them. I really didnt think that it was a bad mix at all. There are a lot of postings in this forum on this subject that you should look at. After reading all of these postings, it was pretty clear that the ACADEMY is the quintessential sonic match to the FORTE-II's. After trolling for a while, I landed one from this site (a very nice transaction with an honest dude). Yes, I'll admit that it is a better match with the Forte-II's but using the RC-3-II's with the forte's really wasnt that far off. I would suspect that the RC-35 would be similar.
