DrWho
ROFL!!! oh man, think of the fidelity you're getting using just "one" speaker!
michael hurd
Yeah, I saw the add in the newest ht magazine. What is this world coming to? I'd take the promedia's anyday! Better sound through convincing and coaching the gullible into thinking they " hear " what the salesman is telling them, that is not there. skonopa
You should see their amplifiers though! Holy cow! I wonder how they compare to Krell. Yeah, I am pretty skeptical of getting full 5.1 surround-sound out of a single speaker and subwoofer. I see they also got a 6.1 setup that uses two speakers and subwoofer. One you put in the front to give you the front 3 channels and the other you put in the rear to give you the rear 3 channels. This is kinda like the Bose 3-2-1 setup. The local Tweeter had an actual 3-2-1 setup, not one of those pre-canned kiosk deals, so I got to listen to it with my own material. Yeah, it sounded decent, but not for the asking price. For the asking price, one could get a better system, such as that Samsung/Klipsch HT-SK6 system, for example.
lancestorm
That pic I put in the second post of this thread still cracks me up. But the funnier thing might be the number of people that fall for it and end out purchasing a set...
kenratboy
It might sorta work, but there is a problem. Your sweet spot is probably a 1 foot area, both left and right, front and back.
