Aggie Klipsch
Sounds like a ground loop problem. Try moving the sub to a different outlet and see if it still occurs. That is a fairly weird problem. That is one reason I do not use a cordless phone. Picking up other peoples conversation.
dougdrake
What are you using to connect your sub to your receiver? If just plain old RCA cords, try using a well-shielded coax cable with RCA plugs on the end. Sounds like your amp is picking up interference and the interconnect may be the antenna... michael hurd
I believe one of the members had this problem with a rp5 powered tower picking up a radio station. I'll do a search and see what I can find.
3dzapper
This sounds like the guy who hears voices in his head all the time. Turns out his loose filling is picking up Rush Limbaugh. Really, somewhere there is a bad connection which has oxidized forming a semi-conductor(crystal diode, copper oxide) reciever. Unplug everything one at a time until the radio goes away and you will have isolated the area. Clean the connections and electrical plug of any and all corrosion and tarnish and reconnect it. If the interference is gone great, if not change the leads. Gone? If not its eternal I mean internal change the component. It could be in the house wiring as well a new wall socket may be in order.
