batibot
My grandfather back in the philippines recently died about 6 mos ago and last night I remembered that he had tube amps powering those big speakers og the golden ages I guess but My question now I is it worth to get it shipped all the way here?..I called my uncle and he said it still workin' but has only two audio inputs ...1 for phono and 1 for cassete ..2 channel amp but not really sure on the wattage? again is it worth it!! garymd
Get some more details, brand, model #, etc. and we'll tell you if it's worth it. Most likely it is. Find info on the speakers and TT also. Most tube equipment from 1960 was very good, even the lower priced stuff. Scott/Eico/Fisher/Dynaco that we all love around here was the lower end gear of 1960. Sorry about your Grandfather.
