glennbarn
I've listened to the RW-10 and I was wishing it could be more accurate and tighter. Any ideas on how ASW600 sound against the RW-10 ?
TheEAR
If you want real "tight" bass,as clean as defined as it gets I would adive you to listen to these subs(the ASW600 will not cut it) Klipsch RSW10/12 and 15 Velodyne HGS10/12/15/18(renamed DigitalDrive, better looking cabinets plus built in calibration tool!) Aerial SW12(nah too expensive for most, nevermid) Revel B15(yes this sub is defined, and it can give you a whiplash) HSU VTF3 being realsitic I would try the RSW12,does not cost an arm and a leg and its one of the most defined subs(at any price).HSU VTF3 also fits the bill, defined and packs a punch, all under a grand. xcjago
Hey Ears, what do you think about the HSU STF-2? Supposedly it's like the VTF-2 but with the low extension mode only. It retails at CompUSA for $349 but employee cost is $180.
prodj101
ears, I'm glad to see the RSW series up there in your list for clean/tight sounding subs. makes me proud to own my RSW-15. My experience with subs is increasing, and I am still damn impressed by it.
TheEAR
If the STF2 performs very much like the VTF2,yes its a clear WINNER.I will order sometime next year the improved HSU VTF3 and maybe the improved TN series. HSU should realease competitive subs with the PB2 and B4 series.WOuld be very interesting The RSW subs are very clean, the RSW10 lacks deep bass capabilities.Still great to match with small high end sats. Its good to be a sub fanatic these days Oh my ears
