MrMcGoo
Given your budget, your choice will be hard to beat. In my opinion, you are wise not to break the bank on a TV. The technology is in a state of change. HDTV is not through with development. Bill

jdm56
I think your choice is excellent, but I have seen some small hd-capable 16:9 crt rear projectors in the 40-48 inch range fore not much more.
Professor.Ham.Slap
I personally would be a fan of the Infocus X1 if you've never thought about the projector route. The only problem with the DLP projectors is you have to drop about $300-$400 every time the bulb blows, but usually they're good for 1000 hours or so. Tom Adams
I have a 46" Mitsu widescreen and matching Mitsu A/V stand that you can get your hands on for $900.00. Sorry - couldn't resist. Tom
