maxg
OK - good news. I have spoken to a friend of mine who is a bit of an afficiando of Greek Music and he has given me some recommendations. I havent conciously heard any of these so dont hold me responsible if you dont like. Further good news. I found a site in Canada that specializes in Greek music: http://www.gmvcanada.com/ That is their home page and is full of music to try out. Additonal recomendations to try out (it works with English characters - I have tried them all): Alkinos Remos Giannatou Theodorakis Giannatou is the only female performer - apparently we will all die when we hear it (doubt that but anyway). Sadly my internet connection is going slower than an autistic snail in treacle at the moment so it is taking an age to get the samples down. OK - first one listened to - not bad - but not something that I am going to race out for. YMMV. There is something rather funny about getting a load of Yanks listening to Greek Laika.....I will continue to bite my lip however... Hmm - maybe play it in the Horns tonight... Deang
Sorry, misread the topic -- I thought it "Geek" music.
