can anyone please tell me, I was wondering becuase I see that both speakers are the same price, and they both have the Tractrix® Horn, but the RF-3 is a floor standing speaker with two cones while the RB-5 is bookshelf and only has one. Therefore i'm assuming that the RB-5 must have some sort of edge over the RF-3's.

par, just to put it in a nutshell, & hopefully not rock any boats, the rf-3 have, with the additional woof & tower design/dimensions, let's just say different bass character than the rb-5.

the main reason the rb-5 is priced the same is that it has real wood veneer as opposed to the vinyl veneer of the rf-3.

there's a post for the same ? that's been running under home theater for a while now.
