In his place ( its not big, but got tall celings) you can barely hear this sub when its turned up all the way. Would it make sense to return it and get 3 SWS instead? MrMcGoo Posted December 29, 2003 Share Posted December 29, 2003 The RW-8 is a very small and under powered subwoofer. The RW-12 or RSW-12 would be much better. The 12 inch driver would do a much better job "loading the room." The RSW series have much better amplification. If you mean SVS and not SWS, the SVS subwoofers have an excellent reputation for ratio of price to quality. Three subwoofers may not be necessary.
