rpittman Posted January 3, 2004 Share Posted January 3, 2004 Saw this a couple of days ago. Excellent movie, but I've always been into the wooden ship thing. You know, warfare was a lot more personal then. You blasted the hell out of each other with cannons, then boarded the other ship, got one shot out of your pistol, and then had at it with your saber. Medical arts were pretty rudimentary, too. If it was broke, they cut it off. Anyway, it was damn well done. BTW, Pippin of LOTR was a helmsman in this flick.
