  1. I would recommend building your own. It's really not that hard to do and I can give you some tips on which hardware components to buy depending on what you want to use your PC for.
  2. You must be a pretty cool dad... unfortunately my dad isn't into sound stuff AT ALL (he is satisfied with the speakers that came with the TV), and I don't get any "hand-me-down" subs.
  3. I heard from some people that are into audio that the KSW-10 was being discontinued, but not necessarily the whole line. I've heard quite a few stories of KSW-10s going dead, but the 12 and 15s seem to be fine (from what I've heard around audio places).
  4. The VTF-2 looks like the perfect sub for my needs(a little expensive though since I wanted to use that money to upgrade my computer....)!! Thanks SO much for the advice!! I really like the extended warranty thing too. Is there anything decent under $400?
  5. I only have about 400-500 to spend on a new sub, so I might have to get used, I'm not sure yet. I have a set of 5.1 Ultras, but I don't want to get a SWS because they can't hit low enough. I don't want just more volume, I want something that can dig deeper.
  6. yes, there is a HUGE difference. And if I'm not mistaken the KSW would still be alot more expensive than the 12" JBL sub. I'm still a little curious which one would be the best. I really don't want to spend over $400 for a new sub, since its going to be used for my computer.

  8. The E250PCH was the one I was looking at. I want the best sub for the money of the two. I am going to use them with my computer, so I don't want to spend too much on this sub.
  9. Well if it is still under warranty then (to my knowledge) Klipsch is supposed to repair it and pay for it shipping and all. Contact them before you do ANYTHING.
  10. Between the RSW-12 and the JBL 12" Northridge, which sub is better?
  11. I thought it was a pretty well done movie, but very boring.

    Call Of Duty

The graphics are dated, but a bit better than the Quake 3 engine based Medal of Honor. The Graphics in COD do not Compare to the up to date Unreal Tenchnology based games (other than a few that did not use its potential within the code base. ---------------- I agree but Call of Duty *demo* runs damn smooth on my *aging* computer. By the way everyone I finally got a copy off of Ebay, I can't wait to try it out!

Also I didnt realize it was hard to place low sounds, duh ---------------- Even with the Ultras, you can still tell where the sub is placed.
