darph
Can anyone point me to information on this? I'm a big computer dork, but not much of an Audophile yet. :-) Do wires really make that much of a difference?
nicholtl
In the case of the promedia's, they probably don't make THAT much difference. I noticed only a little after I upgraded my 2.1's with monster cable. Might have just been placebo. But in doing so, at least you can rest assured that you're squeezing every last ounce of performance from them. If you got $50, then why not? STL
MONSTER CABLE anything == over-rated, over-hyped, and grossly over-priced If it is a short speaker wire run then upgrading the cable won't do diddly-swat. On long runs just use any reasonibly-priced large-gauge OFC wire (like those from Parts Express).
gtDark
"MONSTER CABLE anything == over-rated, over-hyped, and grossly over-priced" You don't have to check if Monster cable is equal to "over-rated, over-hyped, and grossly over-priced." Everyone already knows it is , so just use one equal sign .
