bryan2
Hi, I liked the diffuse effect of my RS-7s during movies, but in some type of music I wished it produced a more localize sound effect. I've read that Klipsch designed the RS-7 so that it will be out-of-phase ? (i'm not so sure what I'm talking about, but you know what I mean). For experimental purposes, can I change the wiring connections inside so it will not anymore be out-of-phase? I mainly use my system for music and I prefer a localize effect on my surround speakers. gcoker
To make a speaker out of phase you would reverse the +/- connection between your receiver and your speaker. that will make the sound more diffused I belive though.
ygmn
the speakers are not out of phase but use dipole type arangement to disperse the sound.... That is why the 2 horns are at 90 degrees to one another and 45 degrees of centerline...to dispers the sound and give the impression of a wall of sound from the surrounds...
