tstat Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 OK....I need help, I have a separate Sony DVD player hooked into the DD-5.1 via an optical input. When playing a DVD from this source the decoder always shows PCM Stereo Optical. I also have a USB Audigy 2NX and if I put a game or DVD (with digital only on) and connected to the decoder via digital coaxial cable, I still get PCM Stereo Coxial. Anybody have any ideas? I have tried different DVD's etc. The DVD player to the decoder is most puzzling as this does not go thru the soundcard at all. Thanks in advance...this is driving me nuts!
