TIbor
Hi I used my rat shack meter and set up the channel levels w/ the receiver pink noise output. It all my channels are in the negative like -3 and such. Is this normal? I didnt get my digital essentials disc yet So I cant use that. I did pump up the sub to 9 though! Tonight is my first movie so I want it to be just righ. Getting a new reciever is great but my old one was set up perfect! I will get some pics p tonight of my new ht room! Thanks
dougdrake
That's fine, as long as all channels generate the same SPL on your sound meter when it's stationary in the viewing position, pointed up towards the ceiling (or angled towards the ceiling).
