sfgriscom
What is the recommended wiring for KLF20s when they are not biwired. Does it matter if the single set of wires are connected to the high level or low level inputs? ------------------ This message has been edited by sfgriscom on 06-26-2001 at 07:00 AM
badbob
When I bought my 20's about 6 months ago, I was faced with the same problem. I called the retailer where I purchased them from and was told to attach the speaker wires to the lower set of binding posts and to make sure that the gold-colored "jumpers" are connected to both the upper and lower posts. However, I did bi-wire my speakers and did notice a small improvement. (Every little bit helps!)
M6 Driver
As long as you have the jumpers in it doesn't really matter as long as you pick the top or bottom connections not one of each and for the bi-wire thing I did that to my 30's and I could hear some improvment but then again when you drop $100 for speaker cables of course your mind will hear improvments to justify the cost! ------------------ Thanks J KLF 30 Mains C7 Center 8.5 rears Yamaha RX-V995 Toshiba SD-1600 DVD Pioneer CLD-S201 LD Pioneer PD-M53 CD Sony 32 inch TV no subs till house built
Cruzer
Do a search under "jumpers" and you will find some good info. I replaced the jumpers on my KLF-20s with speaker wire... ------------------ Cruzer
