Daemon
What would be a good rear center channel to match my KT-* THX series? I'm upgrading my receiver to an Integra 7.1 with THX-EX, so now I have another output to wire up (damn... hate when that happens . I'm thinking that an RC-3 or a single RS-3 would be the best choice for the application, but I'm not sure. Thanks, Carl
T2K
What about another KT-LCR ? Keith
PhilH
Daemon: I agree with Keith. If you cannot find one of those, an RC-3 or preferably, the new RC-7 would work great. Since you already have a very diffuse dispersion pattern with your KT-DS dipole surrounds, you do not want another dipole, bipole or even our WDST surround speakers to use as that rear center. The purpose of that channel is more to localize the sound and blend in to create a smooth seam between the surrounds, so go for a speaker normally used as a center channel. dbngaa
keith, i know i would be interested in another kt-lcr, new OR used. i have one now for my front center and have been looking to add a rear center - either a klf-c7, moving the kt to the rear, or another kt. i have the walnut now, but would take a black as well. thanks david
