You don't have to answer that actually it's a good aliby" We are not talking about wether you will get caught/they can prove it..etc. We were discussing legality. It is illegal. No, you probably won't get caught. If you are caught, you may be able to get out of it. That doesn't change the fact its illegal. THAT is the difference. wheelman Posted March 16, 2004 Share Posted March 16, 2004 So for years we all have been illegally recording music for people. Like when we had tape cassette recorders giving them out to friends. I know bands that did it to. But the internet scares them and i can see. But if it is illegal it is wrong. But it didn't feel wrong when we were taping though. That's because it wasn't a big deal and nobody new it was illegal or just thought it was the silliest law ever. Like recording tv programs most everyone has done it. I think that is why they pretty much invented the vcr. I remember when some one narced on our school for having tapes we would watch that were educational. And they all got confiscated.
