OK, not that i frequent CC, but i was in there last week picking up some Monster Cable while waiting for my C7 to arrive (made it in one piece through UPS!!!), and took a peak at the price tag for the Velodyne CT-120. The sales guy noticed me looking and we BS'd for a couple minutes about speakers. He told me that they were gonna stop carrying the higher priced stuff in stores, but they could still order it for people that wanted it. WTF???

He said the reasoning was that people that were gonna buy that stuff had already heard it and/or already knew what they wanted. Well, if that's the case, i'd go get it off the internet for several hundred less. What's the point of going to CC at that point??? He didn't agree with the idea - when he told me he just looked at me and rolled his eyes.

Sounds like a bad move to me - you're just encouraging people to go to Best Buy and make a "worst buy" - Bose. Wink.gif

If you are looking for mid to high end stuff stay the hell away from Circuit City. CC is for entry level purchases. This is just my humble opinion!
