Audio Flynn
I have this Denon DCM-560 5 disc changer feeding the GW LABS upsampler(just acquired 3 days ago; nice results so far) and MSB Link II DAC. It sounds very natural and non fatiquing. PROBLEM: Some very dark CDs load up and then the changer pauses for a while and rotates to the next disc. Any ideas I was thinking about applying white ink to the center ring of a CD as a test. Should I clean the laser lens?
Rdmarsiii
It probably wouldnt hurt to clean it. My Sony POS does the same too.

MrMcGoo
Take a look at the side that the CD player reads. Any imperfections in either the surface or the polycarbonate? Surface problems can sometimes be polished out. Is the CD reflective? If the side that is read absorbs infra red, you will not find a machine to read the CD. Try the CDs on a player known to work well. If the second player does not read the CDs, then you know that it is a problem with the CDs. If other players have no trouble, then your machine has a problem IMO. Bill
