It is RARE that both woofers go out on two SEPARATE speakers at exactly the same time. You said that you hooked the wires from the crossover that go to the woofers directly to your amp's speaker wire and still heard nothing. My question is this...did YOU USE THE SAME AMP to do this? Look at the amp...maybe something is wrong with IT! Start simple, like the bass control...then look further into it! Hook the amp up to some other speakers and see what happens! In order to test the LaScalas, all you need to do is use the headphone wires from a cheap pair of walkman headphones and a walkman or portable cd player to confirm if the speaker is bad. I bet you have something going on in the amp section!

I did not try the other amp will hookup to night i run two dmc 1000 carvin amps harmond kardon av per amp with 4 klipsch speakers has run like this for 5 years no problems now my kids use the system when i am not home after school,now i have problems.
