khorn58 Posted April 2, 2004 Share Posted April 2, 2004 orig paint is black lacure which sparys on satin black but can be buffed to high gloss. I would not use rusoleum it just a cheap spray paint. the good thing about lacure is it melts into itself so a new coat become one with the old ,not just lying on top like rustulem does. Try to find a sherwin willams paint store they should have a black laucure spray paint. Or you can get it on line from any good guitar supply co. should come up in a search.
