ralph
i'm new to home theater, but not klipsh. i'm currently considering upgrading to rf-7's. i notice where the borg got his system at a great price ... but he didn't include a sub-woofer. on the products page here, it does not indicate a sub-woofer is necessary. is it???? htxpert
Hi Ralph If you intend to fully appreciate the .1 LFE channel in Movie tracks (IE) U-571 and other bass heavy action flicks a dedicated Subwoofer is absolutly nessesary. If you are considering the RF-7 it better be a good subwoofer to "keep up" At minimum a KSW15 also using a dedicated sub will alleviate the stress factor and power reqirements for your front mains to reproduce the lower octaves in the tracks you will also gain amplifire head room hope this helps --> hee,hee I said "Hope"
boomer9911
I believe under the products page the new RSW-15 is not listed yet, as it won't be out until Sept\Oct from what I have heard.
