orr_2111
My SW-10 has a slight pop when powered on. When powered off, it's a very loud burst/pop. Any suggestions as to what the problem is? Can I just leave it on or will it over heat?
michaelstano
Not sure of the technical explanation, but my SW-10 has always "popped" at both start up and shutdown.
doudou
i have the same problem with mine... with my promedias(5.1 and 2.1), when i cut the promedia with the power switch on the back of the sub instead of the switch on the control pod, it also make a big pop, like my ksw10.... i m thinking about letting the sub always on with the auto on active.i ve noticed that the ksw10 dosn t pop when it stop itself. gcoker
The popping exists with all Direct Radiating sub's (Non Ported) I'm not an Electrical Engineer but I think it's the capacitors charging and discharging. Nothing to worry about.
