joshnich
Not as if I need another piece of audio gear, but I couldnt resist the deal. I scored a MA 6100 solid state McIntosh integrated (or as they call it a pre and power amp) for 90 bucks. One of the channels is a little noisy and the glass was marginally bubbled. I have already scraped off the offending paint and repainted the inside of the glass to pretty good results. I am taking it to a repair place that told me over the phone that the repair shouldnt be more that 100 bucks. I know I could sell it for around 6 or 7 hundred but I am inclined to keep it. It was one of the units that I lusted after when I couldnt afford it. Anyone have any experience with these units? Josh
Flason
I have one. It is a nice piece. It has good power and a really sweet sound. I recently tried to sell mine here for $300, but no bites.
zoocow
Josh, What do you think about the MA6100? I have been thinking about getting one from ebay. Friend of mine is a big MacIntosh fan. How about yours Flaso? Still selling?
Flason
Still have it, and still want $300 + shipping. I attached a pic.

zoocow
Looks good Flason. I will be running it with my Fortes. Any work needed on it? And how much do you think shipping is to Pittsburgh from your location?
Flason
It really needs nothing because it sounds great. Just a good (outer) cleaning to make it more of a show piece. I have a really good, heavily padded box for shipping that might cost around $40 to Pitts.
zoocow
Flashon, sounds good. Can I email you the first week in May about arrangements if you are still wanting to sell it?
