ygmn Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 I got this DVD cheap at local blockbusters.... Redone with DD5 sound..... Well....the movie is as always....very good...and very early 70's hehehe but the sound was aweful....they did a bad job IMO....they tried too hard to make the sound effects work...and well did not blend very well....voices were very evident from coming from left or right when the person taling was just a bit off of center of the screen....quite annoying to me....they did not blend the voices well as they moved acroos the screen Also the video was horrid...they did not clean up the master or something...as you could see black spots, hairs white spots etc pop on screen like the movie film was very dirty and old... The orignal was so much better then the remake....but this version is just not well done.....and IMO not worth owning unless you get it for under $7....
