  1. I can recommend Andres Segovia (RIP). I've got other classical stuff, but don't know if you're interested in that. Benton
  2. I don't think anyone has mentioned Young Frankenstein. What knockers! Benton
  3. Didja ever build that round K-horn room? Benton
  4. Carne en adovada at any of the good downtown restaurants! Benton
  5. I like the SETI radio antenna idea, I guess the same principle as listening to your neighbors. Benton
  6. What do you call a blond skeleton in the closet? Last years hide-n-go seek winner. Benton
  7. I know some of them are DIY, but some of them looked like the speakers that were the "next generation" klipsch horns. I know I've seen a picture of them on the forum somewhere. I'm not gonna build them but might buy a pair for fronts/mains to go with la scalas. Thanks, Benton
  8. Have not posted in a while, but was interested if anybody knows anything about these horns. I'm originally from Tulsa but never heard of them. Anybody from Tulsa? www.pispeakers.com .j Thermionics (sp?) look like something from klipsch.
  9. I bought a quadrophonic sansui for 30 bucks in 1983. I think it was a late 60's or early 70's model, but I don't have any quad sources (8 tracks or lp's). For a while I had it set up to split my 2 channel sources and it sounded "real good". It would also "simulate" quad. I should probably hook it up to something. Benton

    Best Holiday Movie

It's a Wonderful Life, Charlie Brown, and the stop-motion; "I'm Mr. Heat Miser, I'm Mr. Sun,... whatever that one was. Benton
  11. I got a DVR/DVRAM/Hard disk for my birthday, and it doesn't appear to have a component video in area. I assume you have to use the coax in? I assume that would work since the HD signal comes into the satellite receiver on a coax cable. Thanks for any input. Benton
  12. 11.045% not bad for thinking I was worse, but I never got into those games. Benton
  13. Yep, the hisssss is in your receiver/amp more than likely. I had a $450 Technics receiver that I ran with KLF-30's, and it had an audible but not completely unobjectionable hissss. Then I got La Scalas and couldn't stand it, they were so efficient they pick up everything bad upstream. Congrats on your find . Benton
  14. From what I understood, alot of the "team" (actors, director, etc.) all had an attachment to Texas and really wanted to do it right. I watched it almost like a documentary (sp?) Benton
