m00n
I would like to start using a spare monitor in my theater to use when making receiver adjustments... It has a single RCA jack out. ANyone know of any hardware that I can use to get that video signal into my spare PC monitor? Seems as though I have already asked this... but if I did, i forgot. WMcD
If I understand the question. You need something which will convert regular video to the input to a computer monitor. The only thing which comes to mind is the Dazzle system which, on the one I have, has video and audio inputs and outputs to the parallel port on a computer. Then you can view and record to MP-2 format for recording. Mine is old. It may be that the newer ones convert to MP-3 and use a USB input to the computer. This is not quite what you want in that it does require a computer. OTOH, capable used computers are fairly cheap and you might have one sitting around. The older converters might be found, cheap, on e-bay. And you'll have a new toy. Gil
