Klipsch RW-10 or RW-12?

I'm purchasing a single powered sub for a room that is approx. 16' x 18' with a 10' ceiling. It will be paired with a Harmon/Kardon 510 receiver. Do I really need the added power of the RW-12, or would the RW-10 be plenty? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Also, how does the RW series performed musically? I'll probably be using it about 60% in HT and 40% music.

Too hard to say for sound.....

I have RW12...love it...good bass for the $$

Let your wallet decide...if ya can swing the $$$ then buy the bigger....

I have never seen peeps with huge SUbs ever wish they had smaller subs...

but I have seen people who had small subs want bigger ones....

what other speakers are you using??

the only reason to go w/the rw-10 vs. rw-12 would be if your main speakers,or budget,or space for the sub would not allow the rw-12.the rw-10 is a good sub for the $$'s,but i would go for the rw-12 if possible.

haha, very true. But say that to my 13" cubed Sunfire Signature, its hangs with the bigger boys, and makes a few beg for it.

I really do need to invest in an SVS sub, that Pb2 is just looking too tempting.
