Marvel Posted May 29, 2004 Share Posted May 29, 2004 Just read a great interview with Walter Sear, owner of Sear Sound in New York. He runs with the big guys, has over 235 microphones, many vintage. He has rebuilt old Ampex 300 Reel to Reel recorders, Studer as well. He has some great articles on his own website, which some of the tubeaholics might enjoy. For fromer studio owners and pro recorders, this guy is great. As an example, his studio was used to remix the Eric Clapton Crossroads II album.
