I just reviewed the main amp which is full of surprises: electrolytic interstage caps, electrolytic coupling to the speaker. I'm still trying to figure out the gain of TR504. Is it 56? can't be. But if it's more like 2, what is C508 doing? Obviously lots of effort to bias the transistors for max linearity and put up with cap coupling. Very interesting.
