space_cowboy
Well, it's a few weeks old now, but "The Eagle" 97.1 is now "Sunshine" and playing some good oldies. I don't know where the transmitter is, but this station has one of the best broadcast signals I've heard. Enjoy Mark
Rdmarsiii
I noticed that too.
BusaDude
A big F'you to clear channel and the troglodytes who did away with KEGL...
Seadog
I was sorry to see the demise of the Eagle. They rocked DFW for many years. It seems that there should have been room on the FM dial for that pre-programmed Sunny stuff while leaving KEGL alone. But I suppose the Finance MBAs had different ideas. Joe Shmoe
WOW.... KEGL, I remember listening to that station way back in the early 80's. I lived in Garland, a suburb next to Dallas for 6 years. Is Q102 still rockin or have they been replaced also? Sheesh what was that morning show called back then... they always did some sort of skit Hmmm... can't think of the name of it, Man that brings back memories. Seadog
My all time favorite in DFW was KZEW. It's been over 10 years since they went away. The "Zew" often played "deep cuts" which were the songs other than the 1st track on an album, the less played stuff, not just the most popular tracks that we get tired of hearing over and over.
