RF-5 vs RF-7 vs Fortes II

I was thinking of upgrading my Forte II's to either the rf-5 or rf-7's. Or would this be a down grade?

Has anyone heard and compared the rf-5 and rf-7's..I really wonder if there is much sonic difference. I plan to hook them up to my Denon 5800 and run them at the small speaker settng so the low end frequency response difference between them would not matter. I just wonder if the rf-7's would have a more open sound to it with the larger horn.

I would really appreciate anyones input on selling my Fortes and moving to either the rf-5 or rf7.

Oh I do have the rc-3 for my center and rs-3's for my rears.

Thanks in advance

i've heard the RF-7's and the RF-3's

Both are good speakers.

Depends on how much you wanna spend though

I dont think the RF-5's are worth the 1500$ pricetag, 700$ increase over the RF-3's

you would have a better match and it would cost you alot less to get a pair of RF-3's

But with the money you would be saving you could get 2 pairs of RF-3's and replace your Fronts and your Rears.

But, I would keep the Forte's personaly.
