Johnette Napolitano was still playing bass and sang her heart out that night. Tears were streaming down her cheeks and her voice choked full of emotion as she literally cried out the words to "Song For Kim". What a trio. After we saw them in Washington, DC last summer he decided to fly out to St. Louis figuring this might be their last tour. Well, before he goes, he emails her with his first and only fan letter, heaping praise on her and mentioning that he's a musician himself (used to be a very good local band). Goes to St. Louis shows up at the gate and asks for his will call ticket. What he gets are the best seats in the house and a backstage pass! Parties down with her afterwards. Not bad, huh. I hope some younger ones on this board who have not heard this band will give them a listen. They will not be disappointed.
