I thought the only difference was that 1 was for moving (corners and wheels) and one was for install. Now I looked at the specs and they look different and have a very different frequency response. Klipsch Employees Trey Cannon Posted July 6, 2004 Klipsch Employees Share Posted July 6, 2004 The main difference is the tunning. The 682 has 4 round ports where the 684 has 2 corner ports. The 684 will go lower. I suggest using the 684 in the club. One thing to remember is the 684 has no grill. You will need to protect the drivers and ports.
