dkf117
I have a pair of Forte II's that I use for rear channel speakers. How far do I need to place them from the TV to prevent them form ruining my picture tube? I've already messed up 2 TV's and need some advice (They were located about 18" from my last TV). Also, does Klipsch make any shielded speakers that would sound as good for surround sound? Thanks.
dougdrake
Unless you're sitting 2 ft from your TV and wearing those Forte's as headphones, you won't have any problem with magnetic interference. Shouldn't be a problem more than 2 feet from the TV, I would think.
J.4knee
How did you ruin a TV with "Rear Surrounds"? You can shield your TV with 1/8 " Soft Steel plates or bucking magnets but if these are in the rear of you room they should not interfere at all.
