G Evans
I've been using new La Scalas since November (minus 4 weeks in Dec ) average 2 hrs a day or 150 hrs ,say. With no tweeks and standard AL-3. Any advances on how much more time they usually take to break-in and what blissfull improvemnts I should expect to hear will it make that much difference. I recall someone's comment on this BB that after breaking-in " they sound just like fresh out of the box .. but more so !" George
PhilH
G Evans: At this point they are probably broken in. Break-In on horn-loaded drivers is usually about 100 hours. Some people notice slightly better dynamics and a "warmer" sound after break-in, but, of course, it is dependant on the listener's ears. It is not a dramatic change. Guest " "
if your view is set to newest first and you select a current active thread open it to read it then select next at the upper right you wind up at threads that are 5 years old.
Daddy Dee
That is indeed interesting. There have been a fair number of oldie threads showing up lately.
