crazyrobo
My grandfather has an old 70s era Sansui GRX-5500 4 channel receiver in good condition that he says I can have (he had sold the speakers that it powered a long time ago). Also in the stack is a "Studio Standard" Two channel equilizer that he no longer uses. Wondering if it was worth the trouble to take these home (as they are pretty heavy...) and play around with em. What kinda speakers would work well with these things? Only thing I have at home are threeway yamaha nsa600s.
Piranha
For free it's worth it.
Griffinator
Indeed - those old Sansuis were reliable, pretty good sounding SS amps. I have a friend locally that still uses his Sansui rack. They're pretty neutral sounding amps - pair up nicely with a pair of Cornwalls.
